Built by a patient

Is Bubo free?

Yes. Medication tracking and reminders, emergency health card, care team directory and syncing with Apple Health are all free forever. But if you want to record your visits, ask unlimited questions, view lab trends, discover patterns, share with caregivers or export your data, try Bubo Plus for free for a week. Then decide if you want to keep it.

Does it replace my doctor?

No. Bubo is a personal health record, not a medical device. It will not diagnose you, change your medications, or tell you whether something is urgent. It helps you remember what your doctor said and prepare better questions for the next visit.

What happens to my visit recordings?

Your audio is transmitted over an encrypted connection to be transcribed and then deleted. It is not stored on our servers or the servers of our transcription provider. The resulting recap, however, is yours to keep.

Who has access to my health information?

Accessible by you and those you choose to share with. We do not sell your health information. Health data is processed by the providers identified in our privacy policy, under their terms and conditions, which prohibit them from using it for model training, and only for the purpose of providing the feature.

Can I turn the AI off?

Yes. Medication tracking, your emergency card, your care team, syncing with Apple Health and more will still work.

How do I cancel?

Any time, in your iPhone’s Settings under your Apple ID subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the free week ends and you are not charged.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. You can do this at any time in Settings within the app. Your health data will be removed from our live systems within 30 days.

Is it on Android?

Not yet. Bubo is currently available for iPhone running iOS 16.4 or above.
